I've always had two main passions in my life: flying and computers. Even while I was doing other jobs, I would code on my time off because I enjoyed it.
I was always the guy that could 'make it work' to create/code something awesome and unexpected, whether a plane tracking app in the Air Force, or automate inventory ordering for the wine business. I bring that wow factor!
Ultimately, I transitioned full-time into software development because I want to make the world a better place through code.
I believe that with software development, the sky is truly the limit, where you are only limited by your own creativity. If you can dream it, you can build it. And I have big dreams!
I've got excellent skills: full stack, devops, team leadership, AWS... and I bring a creative passion that gets everyone excited to succeed.
I already know how to build and manage teams, I'd love an opportunity to utilize that skillset with a developer team and build something awesome!
Why would you hire a proven developer to be a leader? You need to hire a proven leader who is also a developer!

Managed helicopter operations in Africa & Europe. Responsible for overall operation, P&L, personnel, safety, and customer interactions. Managed very diverse staff, hired local staff, managed supply chain, logistics, government interactions, and sometimes elephants!
skills developed
- International Business: Principles were located in Africa, Australia, Netherlands, Turkey, United Kingdom, and United States. I am talented at bridging all gaps!
- Diplomacy and Statesmanship: Negotiated red tape for operating permits in third-world countries. 100% on-time deployment; adept at complex, cross-functional awesomeness.
- Negotiation: Across vendors, suppliers, customer, and parent company. I’m a big shock-absorber — one that gets everyone on board (the same boat)!
- Tenacity: Failure was not an option, despite some very austere circumstances. I suffer from a success-ridden legacy at getting things done!
- Creative Problem Solving: No, really... CREATIVE! Ask me about dodging elephants, avoiding bush-fires, lack of infrastructure, ebola scares, and no-notice fuel outages. I thrive in crazy.
- Team Building/Development: I managed a very diverse team of 25 people, from 15+ different countries, that continuosly rotated in and out. (spoiler alert: nailed it)!
- Twice named “top performer” for Africa/Europe/Asia region. (twice in 2 years).
- Bases operated under budget and exceeded revenue projections 100% of my tenure. 100%!
